Shanghai airport transfer: Pudong or Hongqiao
Check the full airport name on your booking before choosing transport. Pudong International Airport and Hongqiao International Airport are in different parts of Shanghai.
From Pudong International Airport
Metro Line 2 provides a direct, lower-cost route toward central Shanghai. The Maglev is faster to Longyang Road, where you transfer to the metro. Use the official taxi queue if rail is closed or luggage is difficult.
From Hongqiao International Airport
Hongqiao is closer to central Shanghai and has two terminals. Check the airport's current transport information and confirm the terminal shown on your booking before setting out.

Recheck the terminal, live rail schedule and airline deadline. Leave extra time when crossing the city between airports; a map estimate is not a boarding guarantee.
