Chengdu airport transfer: check Tianfu or Shuangliu
Chengdu has two airports. Confirm the full airport name on your booking before choosing a route; the two airports require different transfer plans.
From Tianfu International Airport
The official 2023 airport guide lists Metro Line 18 as a city connection. Follow current terminal signs and confirm the live route and operating notice before relying on it.
Payment
Chengdu Metro supports direct contactless payment from several overseas card networks. Cash and mobile-payment ticket options are useful backups.
Do not confuse the airports
Tianfu and Shuangliu are separate airports. Recheck the full departure airport and terminal before leaving your hotel or crossing the city.
