Beijing airport transfer: identify PEK or PKX first
Beijing has two major airports. Confirm the three-letter code on your booking before choosing transport: PEK is Capital Airport and PKX is Daxing Airport.
From Capital Airport (PEK)
The Capital Airport Express serves Terminals 2 and 3 and continues through Sanyuanqiao and Dongzhimen to Beixinqiao. Check the airport's current timetable before relying on the last train.
Paying for the connection
The airport line is part of Beijing's rail network. Overseas contactless cards are supported at designated metro gates, while ticket machines and staffed counters provide backup purchase options.
Late arrival or heavy luggage
If the rail line is closed or your luggage is difficult to manage, use the official taxi queue or ask an airport service desk for the current bus option. Ignore unsolicited drivers in the arrivals hall.
